Need some advice

Hello everyone! Hope you guys/ladies are well. I need some advice, and have nowhere else to go. I have read alot of the posts here.....many have helped. I have been seeing my AP for 2 months now. Everything has been more than wonderful with him.... Until just this past Friday. My H and i had gotten into a fight, and i had called my AP for some advice. He asked me if i was okay, and asked if i needed for him to come and pick me up. He also asked if i was physically okay.I told him that i was fine, and to not come and get me. He then kept on asking me if i was alright (physically),and i told him i was fine, and that i could fend for myself. He got me irritated, because he kept on asking if i was okay (i was already upset by the whole thing with my H). Then he went to go and hang up on me. About 10 minutes later, he sent me a text saying he would be ready to talk when i became respectful. My question is....what the heck is that supposed to mean?!?! I am at a loss of what to do. Any advice?

I don't know. Sounds like he was offended by something you said. Try to remember exactly what it was you said just before he hung up. Maybe he felt like he was being concerned about you and you were getting irritated and that hurt his feelings. There's so much about domestic abuse in the media, maybe he was just afraid you were a victim of it and he wanted to be sure you were safe. Next time you see him or talk to him (don't e-mail or text - things tend to get more messed up and misunderstood then) try to reassure him that you are not a victim of any abuse at home (if this is the case) and if you want to vent to him about an argument, you don't want him to get all worried like that. Tell him it'll make you feel like you shouldn't share those things with him. BUT let him know you love that he's concerned and cares about you.
By the way, welcome to MAS danaluv. Hope to see you posting around!
