I also think if they appear offline but are hiding the avatar is present but still greyed out.(it shouldnt but i have had cases where that has happened and the greyed out person has seen me come online waited a moment then messaged me without logging in officially)
just out of nowhere's his avatar disappeared from my phone, when i say disappear i mean gray. but not my computer. just strange. he's going through alot, and maybe if he did delete me this would help, or he's hiding.

Hey there,
I don't know if this will help you are not, but you the only way to really tell if you have been blocked/deleted is by checking this person's yahoo status. There are several ways to do this, however these are my favorites:
http://www.invisible-scanner.com/
http://detectinvisible.com/
These 2 sites are free up to 50 times in a 12 hour period....I think. Anyway, you can just input the person's yahoo address and then see what their status is. If it shows them as online, but they do not show up to you on your account...consider yourself deleted/blocked. On the other hand, these sites may show this person's status as invisible, which in that case, the person hasn't deleted you, but they sure are hiding!
Also, these sites will show a person's avatar if they do in fact have one tied to their account, so if the sites show grey...that means there is no avatar whether they are online or not and it doesn't matter if you are a contact to them....follow? Go ahead, you can test your own account and see what comes up...it's interesting.
HTH...I know it's tough not to drive yourself up a wall. The flip side to this information is that you now know there is no such thing as being "invisible".

Yes, there really is no such thing as hiding. lol You know the old saying, you can run, but you can't hide? It really is the truth.
Besides, the only time being "invisible" might work is if you are 10 years old, you have an invisibility cloak and your name is Harry Potter. :)
