I read your story and i feel for you. I know there isn't an easy solution. This guy has it bad for you sweetie. I see there are two ways to go about this, one tell your dh and fight it through together or not tell him and see what happens with Ben. Just think it through of the conscequences and be prepared for the after math. Good luck to you sweetie.
Your posts have broken my heart. What an intense, sad, moving situation!!! *I* was crying when reading your post about the phone conversation! I can imagine you were bawling like a baby!!

Did it occur to you that he's going hunting with your husband, and he has said he'd kill to be with you, and that he'd marry you and adopt your children??? It would be silly to take him literally, but still...

I think you're dead right about Ben being a "young" 28. Definitely maturity issues going on (not atypical for guys, eh?). You describe his social life outside *your* circle of friends as being bar and party oriented...
