I thought maybe something a little more lighthearted was in order :).
What are some songs that remind you of AP?
A couple for me are:
"Need You Now" by Lady Antebellum

"Stay" by Sugarland

I'm going to age myself - but AP and I went and saw Karate Kid 2 when it came out in theaters LOL - so
Can't listen to "Never Gonna Be Alone" by Nickelback without thinking of him...
And an old one - "Love Will Keep Us Alive" by the Eagles because it played on the radio a lot when we were together in high school.
I like this thread because I just made AP a CD last week. He loved it. He says he plays it every chance he gets.
Smile....Uncle Kracker
Fallin For You...Colbie Colliet
Endless Love (our song in high school)Dianna Ross/Lionel Ritchey
Just you and me (chicago)
Cant' fight this feeling (REO)
Today was a Fairytale (Taylor Swift)
Need You Now (Laday Antebellum
Then Came You (Dionne Warwick/Spinners)
When will I see you again (Barry Manilow)
SOme of the songs are a little dated, but come from years ago when we were a couple. :-) Nice memories!!
there are many songs that remind me of my AP but the one that I'm thinking about now is from the 80's and I can't think of the title or the artist but the lyrics pretty much sum up my feelings right now:
Gonna harden my heart...
Gonna swallow my tears....
Gonna turn and leave you here....
Here you go, owl (I love this song and it's been my theme song a couple of times over the years - not with present AP)

You've got a lot of choices. If getting out of bed in the morning is a chore and you're not smiling on a regular basis, try another choice. ~Steven D. Woodhull
Proud to be a
You've
"Islands in the Stream" (Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton)
lots of BeeGees songs, best one is "Sad Eyes"
Whenever I hear BeeGees, I just think of him and the time we were in his car singing BeeGees songs together...he has an amazing voice and I enjoy singing with him!
Love the Bee Gees, especially their "older" stuff (pre-disco).
Another song that reminds both of us of each other is "Kiss You All Over" by Exile.

because of some of his behavior in the past and the fact that ap is a tad bit older than me..i always imagine him at an old school bar with a bottle singing this song:(lol lol lol-kind of makes me chuckle because i can picture him doing this)
"if loving you is wrong, i don't wanna be right"
If loving you is wrong I don't wanna be right
If being right means being without you
I'd rather live a wrong doing life
Your mama and daddy say it's a shame
It's a downright disgrace
Long as I got you by my side
I don't care what your people say
Your friends tell you there's no future
In loving a married man
If I can't see you when I want to
I'll see you when I can
If loving you is wrong I don't wanna be right
If loving you is wrong I don't wanna be right
Am I wrong to fall so deeply in love with you
Knowing I got a wife and two little children
Depending on me too
And am I wrong to hunger
for the gentleness of your touch
knowing I got somebody else at home
who needs me just as much
And are you wrong to fall in love
With a married man
And am I wrong trying to hold on
To the best thing I ever had
If loving you is wrong I don't wanna be right
If loving you is wrong I don't wanna be right
Are you wrong to give your love
To a married man
And am I wrong trying to hold on
To the best thing I ever had
If loving you is wrong I don't wanna be right
If loving you is wrong I don't wanna be right
I don't wanna be right
If it means sleeping alone at night
I don't wanna be right
If it means coming home at night
I don't wanna, I don't wanna
I don't wanna never, never, never be right
