The counselor's first and foremost job is to help the couple work things out ... that s the main point of couples therapy ... Does your AP know that you called the counselor?
Wow, I don't have experience in dealing with a MM, but my guess would be that if its been a year and a half of him telling you he's leaving his W and still hasn't done it, he wants to have his cake and eat it too.
yeah, I kinda grimaced when I read that too.. but she's totally honest.. and as the saying goes "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned".. .it is not right, but in a world of all grays, is it any more right than him doing the classic "drag along".. who is to say..

She will not say anything to him and according to what she said, she will try not to let the information you told her influence her counseling.
I'm sorry: I know this is a support board, but I'm having a really hard time getting past the fact that you threw your AP under the bus.
