TECHNICAL HELP!

I need technical help ASAP! When in msn.com I click the button that says to click as if you're on a public computer. However, when in msn.com I go to groups and then click "sign in" it AUTOMATICALLY pops up with this "connect to groups" screen which provides a drop down menu of ALL msn or hotmail addys. That means, if y'all have private email addresses, and think that by checking the "public pc" box it eliminates it, you're wrong. All one has to do is go to groups and click sign in and there you are.

How do I delete these files. H is on to me bigtime. Please help me delete this drop down menu in its entirety as my email addy is a dead giveaway (mrsjones). Those who have secret hotmail accounts may want to see if this is happening to you when in groups.msn.com. Please help quickly.

Thanks

Luvin

You need to delete your "cookies." Depending on your OS, this may work. Right click on your Internet Explorer icon (or Netscape). A menu will come up. Select "properties." You'll see several options including "Temporary Internet Files." Select "Delete Cookies." It's also a good idea to "Delete Files" and "Clear History," it's all junk anyway, plus the history file shows where you've been surfing. By deleting these, no one can tell who was where (assuming the spy software isn't loaded on the PC. Hope this works.

You don't say what browser you're using, but if it's Microsoft Internet Explorer then this is what you do:

Go to Tools/Internet Options/Content - on the lower part of that tab there is a section called Personal Information which contains an 'AutoComplete' button. Click that button and uncheck all the boxes for AutoComplete (Web addresses, Forms, user names and passwords on forms). Then go to the General tab in the options box and hit 'clear internet cookies'.

Other browsers will have the same functions somewhere under their tools/options feature.

MSN Messenger!

Whatever happened to the idea for a section for Tech help for us TCG's???

Thankyou so much for your help each time for the tech help all of you. So I have another question, When using MSN messenger, every name that has signed in is saved, when you click to sign in with a different name, and press on the arrow, all names are still saved. I have tried to erase cookies, temps, but nothing seems to work, they stay there. I have wrote to MSN to ask, and no answers...

Can anyone help get rid of these names that have already signed in?
