Earlier this morning, I tried to do a couple of things and the system wouldn't let me. First I tried to report a post, and when I tried to pick what "category" the post violated the rules, the drop down box wouldn't stay long enough for me to choose one. Then I tried to post, and my cursor wouldn't stay in the posting box so I couldn't write anything. This isn't the first time that's happened, although it clears up after awhile. Why does it happen, or is it only me?

Some would say that I fell from grace... but I didn't.

I haven't had the first problem but occasionally the cursor won't show up, and I am unable to post.

Hello. I'm sorry you had issues with the reporting feature. Sometimes a glitch as you've described can be cleared up by clearing your browser's cache and cookies and restarting the browser. If that doesn't clear it up, please email techtalk@mail.ivillage.com

Hi Obx -

To have a post deleted completely requires the CMs assistance - and normally you will only see that happen if someone RAVs a post - and the CMs determine that the post violates TOS.

Hope this helps - how are you doing hon??

Hello again and thank you for asking! :) A post may only be deleted by a member of the Community Team when they're in violation of the Terms of Service, Rules of Play, or individual board guidelines.
