Technical Question! Help! RE: MSN Chat..

MM and I had a fabulous conversation online last night; first time for that. My question is whether it's possible for DH to track those conversations without my knowledge. What do I need to look for on the computer? I know about the "save conversation" option, and that is turned off in MSN, but is there anything else of which I need to be mindful?

Any help is sincerely appreciated!!

I think as long as you don't choose the "save conversation" option, you are just fine.

If you're talking about MSN Messenger Chat, then as long as you have the save coversation button off, you will be fine.

Yes, as long as you have not saved the conversation , you are fine. Just make sure that your messenger doesnt automatically log in under your nickname.Make sure that your messenger asks you for your password. If your husband is not that computer literate, you are fine. But if he knows his way around IT technology, usually avoid doing anything from home. Dont call from home, dont email from home etc...

Thanks everyone! Unfortunately he IS computer literate, so I am as careful as possible. Sounds like the MSN thing is ok, though. Thanks again for the advice!!

Please please please be very very careful. Like the previous person said, if your DH is the least bit puter savvy, make sure you do your talking etc., away from home. This is how my A was discovered. There is no surefire way to wipe everything off the puter, and what if he has some kind of spyware in there that you aren't aware of? Never ever be too careless!! Just some info from one who knows...

In that case, I would strongly advice never ever to use your computer at home to email, sms or chat with your MM. You cant imagine how easy it is to trace down everything happening on a computer. And as difficult as it may sound, dont call from home or sms when your husband is around. That is how W ALMOST found out about the A. I sent a msg on his cell, while he was in the bath, she read it and started an investigation. He came up with a pretty good coverup story and thank God we dont live in the same country! But be extra careful. Do what most women do on this board, including me, let the contacts be M-F 9-5 :) Sucks, I know, but its just the safe way out and Good luck, dear
