Damn NRY, where were you when I moved out?? I could have used some of your tips.... LOL

Yep, Omaha you are in my thoughts and so is IS. We hope it a good begining for you and IS. Here is to a whole new chapter to write with IS. Good Luck!

And my thoughts are with you also Omaha. I will be going through that process over the next few months as the D gets to be final. I left weeks ago, but all of my stuff is still there. So, I will be leaning on you for support and advice once I go through with my actual 'move'. Hang in there - enjoy the feeling of freedom, calmness, and peace that this will bring you and don't let the stress and emotion get the best of you. IS - keep that man strong! FYI, candlelit chinese dinner on the floor in front of dozens of packing boxes is one of the most romantic dinners you can ever have! FMH6

Thank you so much NRY, Juliet and FMH. Your thoughts mean so much to me. I'm ready for this step and in fact, I found myself anxious to get started last night as I finished my packing. I still have some details to work out and financially it may be a bit strange for awhile. But emotionally and intellectually, I couldn't be more ready.

Unfortunately, IS won't be with me physically this weekend as she has commitments of her own to attend to. But I know her thoughts and her heart are with me as they always are. And she keeps me strong just by loving me. She has already sent me two very loving messages today and just hearing her voice keeps me calm and happy through anything.

Omahamm,

You know I'm here. You know I'm thinking about you. You know that I am sending my positive vibes your way.

The first night you are sitting in your "new" apartment, looking around, at your stuff and the pictures I'm sure that you have nailed to the walls...

Open that bottle of wine, pour a glass, and reflect... Pure tranquility.

Enjoy yourself (and I mean that in the sense that you should enjoy your own company). As much as we would like to "run away" sometimes, we can never run away from ourselves.

I think you'll understand what I mean from this.

Love you (not in the wrong way) and take care

Red

Well I'm moved and getting settled. My muscles are sore and my checkbook is a bit strained, but all in all I'm doing very well. I got to see my son yesterday on a field trip and he is spending the next two nights with me. I'm feeling good and strong and I'm excited for the future. Thank you all for the kind words and I hope you all know how much I appreciate it.

I should also mention I have talked to IS about 20 times in the last three days and as always, she has been there for me when no one else is. I can't begin to tell you how much she means to me and I can only hope that in my lifetime I'll have enough days to show her how much love I have for her.
