If it were me, I wouldnt tell him at all. I would want him to say it first. It may sound silly but it seems that so often men have so much control in these R's. I would wait also because what if he doesnt say it back. He may love you but then he may feel pressured to either say it back

Hi we actually said it pretty quick. AP said it first. I was so thankful he said it! We say it all the time. SO I would say if you feel it then say it. But it's up to you, and be prepared for him if he doesn't say it back. That can hurt pretty badly....
