Weird hotel question!!!!

OK, my question is this. . . . next week MM and I are going to get a room, something we've done before several times. I've always been the one who checked in and then out the next morning because he lives further away. Well, this time he is going to get the room but says he is worried about one thing. He's afraid the hotel will send something to him afterwards like a survey or something and his wife will see it. I've never gotten anything in the mail after any of our other "meetings". Has anyone had this happen --did anyone get something in the mail from the hotel afterward? I'd like to be able to tell him that several people told me they never got anything in the mail. Thanks for indulging me this kind of silly question!!

tlalex,

I have booked a lot of hotel rooms in my life,

most all of them ligit. Not once can I remember having

a survey sent to me. I think your risk of having

an asteroid fall on you in the middle of your

tryst is greater. Note that this risk is not zero.

Both risks seem acceptable to me. Thing through

how you would handle it though...

I have never gotten anything from a hotel.

My guess is they don't use mailing list. Because you never know who was with who. It would be bad for bussiness.

If he is worried about it - can he use his work address instead of his home address.

If he pays cash, he should be able to put down anything thing.

Good Luck Have LOTS of fun

Well, I guess I am the odd ball here. I have had a survey sent to me after a couple day stay in a hotel. Since it was work related, the survey was sent to me at work. It might just depend on the hotel chain. I was at the Marriott. Maybe you should use your work address, or a friends.

I have had postcards sent to me advertising special rates, etc. But they were the really nice resort type hotels. I think if you stick with a motel you should be fine. Never had any problems there. I have had the same worries and have had no problems. Good luck.
