So..I've been reading this board for about five (LONG) years. Never really posted anything on here. Just curious for those that are married w/ kids (like myself)...what do you say to get out of the house in the evenings for a few hours...what is our alibi???? Would LOVE to hear from you girls/guys on this one. I have been a faithful reader of this board, I'm one person that KNOWS the rollercoaster of this. I'm married with a single man.....it's been the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. To love someone SO much but you just feel like you can't be with him/her. My A has been going on for about five years now, it's been off and on so many times..we are soul mates (if you believe in that). We are connected on a very deep level, something I have never felt before in my life.
So thank you girls/guys for opening your hearts here and giving SO MUCH. You don't even know how much this board means to me!!!!
THANK YOU

I'm kind of surprised that NO ONE has an excuse that they use to get out of the house. I KNOW you men/women are better then THIS. COME ON POST IT. You have to have a 'reason' how you get out of the house, how you get time.
THANKS EVERYONE!!!!!!
Well my AP lives about 30-40 mins from my house so I have to have time to drive there...spend time with him...then drive home. So I usually try to get about two hours with him. It's hard coming up with excuses to get out of the house at times. Just looking for some good ideas because I keep using the same ones. My A has been going on for about five years now (LONG LONG TIME). But there are times when it's really hard to just GET out or I get really nervous that DH will call while I'm there. Keep the ideas coming guys/girls, I really do appreciate it. Also, helps to see that I'm not the only out in the world going through this. :~)
