what do you think?

Was reading a post about how long they were married before A started some of which were with old flames.
do you feel it is more likely that an old flame can be rekindled rather than a new A starts?
also ask because my xap or he claims to be is hanging onto me for dear life it seems. no more s*x right now but still very emotional and I can see it starting again when he is bored of trying to do the right thing as he puts it. i know what he's like!

I think new is easier for me..kind of like BTDT thing...They are an OLD flame for a reason...
The newness is always exciting and is very enticing!LOL
My AP has/is doing the same thing..holding on for dear life.
I tend to hang on to APs while it keeps working for me - I'm in 2 A's right now plus a hookup every so often. But once it's over, yes it's over for me. New is just too exciting and same-old gets so old. Some APs come lurking back again and it's obvious they think they are God's gift ... wtf?

I think that the internet has changed the face of A's in general.
There are websites specifically geared to pairing up people looking for APs. Then there are the social networking sites (FB, MySpace, Classmates, etc) that allow us to re-connect with people we likely would not have re-connected with before these were in existence.
So, I think that skews A's and that there are likely MORE A's with old flames now than in the past.
I don't know if that makes sense, but I tried.
