I was "torn22" when I started this board a year ago. The word "torn" seemed to encompass how I was feeling at the time (still am). I'm torn between being the idealistic/dependable wife, daughter, sister, worker, etc. and wanting to leave it all to be with my MM.

I forgot my password a couple of months ago so I had to come up with another name...flyermba. I realized how it may be identifiable for some people so I panicked. I re-signed up and came back to "torn" and added "gal" to it.

Nothing too exciting but it fits me and my feelings perfectly:-)

Hope for the Flowers is a book by Trina Paulus

It is so appropriate - about the journey of a caterpillar having trouble becoming what he truly is....and developing trust and many other issues, surviving the dark and unknown and emerging a butterfly.the end is the beginning, etc..so appropriate at times....

talk about transitions :)

Mine is the title of a song - which describes just how I feel when I get all mixed up over this thing - and where I was at the day I decided to post and reach out to you all.

They added the 2004. Seems that there are a few people who can end up feeling as neurotic as me! ;-)

I was instant messaging with an online friend and I was telling him about my evening. My dog had been repeatedly wanting outside in the middle of the night. It was raining out and I was not having a fun time with him. I finally draped an afghan around my half naked self and raced down to the outside dog run to put him in there. My friend told me that the visual of me doing that reminded him of a demented dancing elf. For some reason I found that terribly humorous.

I think my screen name is pretty self explanatory. It describes how I feel most of the time these days.

Mine is derived from what MM called me:

He always calls me Red (hair colour)

and when he was feeling especially lovey - he would call me Bella (Italian for beautiful).

When I started posting here, I was really missing him as he was on vacation, and I was aching to hear those words - so I decided to use them here.
