Working together vs Not?

Yesterday I posted my recent saga. I just left the job where I saw MM everyday for the past 1.5 years of our R. Oftentimes in reading posts on here, I often wondered if it was harder to keep the realtionship going when there was not that daily, inevitable contact.

So I ask this... has anyone been on both sides of the story with MM/OM/MW/OW (working together vs not) and what were your experiences with it? Something I've always wondered and now that I've made the move it really hits home and I'd love to hear!

Thanks!

I don't know much about this as OM is one of our mutual friends. I would think "logistics" of meeting and "lunching" might be a little harder to coordinate. Other than that its just the same. A plus though is that your carrer has lesser chances of being in jeopardy if your work decides to come down on you both.

Hi Sweet Grapes. I guess it all depends on the type of A you are having. I'm in a FWB situation and MM does not want any contact outside of work or on weekends. So honestly, I think if we weren't working together and seeing each other on a almost daily basis, there would be no A. I realized that when we talk, half the time it is about what's going on at work or other people at work, so that keeps us bonded. We do talk about our lives outside of our work, but only a little. For me the feelings are there all the time. I think about him all the time and can't wait for weekends to end so I can see him again, but for him I wonder out of sight, out of mind?

So hopefully your OM has strong feelings for you. I've seen a lot of posters go through a few days of NC or they live far from their OM/OW and don't see them or talk to them daily but they appear to have a strong relationship regardless. So sorry I wasn't much help, put keep us posted on how it goes.
