What do you mean by train wreck?
Usually women want to find a man who is going through the same thing. As they are. So, after becoming a 'train wreck' I sought a 'train wreck'..in order to talk to someone who was going through similar pain as I was and would understand. Last think I wanted was someone to bang me in a urinal. I wanted a friend and a lover.
Yes, they all said they were married. Some on AM are single.

I'm sorry if I offended you, I didn't mean to. I was trying to understand what type of "ads" are women more sympathetic to.

I understand men can feel heartbroken or outright abandoned, but I don't get the part that they would hint that on their ads. Of course women go through trouble too, but they could have a different approach.

I am not offended. I was looking to fill an emotional void and I wanted a man who was looking for the same thing as well. I didn't want to just go at it. I wanted someone to talk to, find support from, a connection...Etc. They don't really hint at it but from reading the ads you can tell what they are after. My APs ad said a lot of general things but what struck Me was 'my W cheated so I can to, right?' So that prompted me to answer his ad, ask questions and from the start I found him interesting, because he went through what he did, he asked me questions as well. It wasn't shallow.
That started a conversation, we had a lot of things in common. Now, he's the one I turn to when I am upset or mad, he's the only one who understands.
