Its seems like since I started the A , my marriage has been improving.

I totally agree. My R at home is much better since the beginning of the A. I think, in certain cases, the A does fulfill that need for attention, excitement and sharing that is lacking at home, even with the best efforts of one or the other S. However, once the pressure is off at home, then homelife starts to improve. This is really hard to explain to someone who has not experienced this first hand.

As for the drama of any given A, well, I think that's just built in. No easy answers there.

I know I'm happier in general with my OM in my life - and happier in general also means happier with my marriage. Strange but true.

You made a good point about stopping smoking for a month - might as well give it up! Now MIGHT be the time you could let go of your A and be less miserable than at any other time. You might give this some serious consideration, if you know you'll give up AP eventually.

I am not really certain of this.My M wasnt bad to begin with- married to high school sweetheart,2 adult children with their own lives and babies on the way, comfortable home life , caring H.
AP just came into the picture and magically fitted well and since then is sitting besides, lol! He is not wanting to get M again, has adult children as well ,no obligation,no exW drama even.I probably fit his requirements :)
