I know my b/f has been struggling with NO SEX DRIVE for a while now...I have only been aware of it for maybe 6 weeks.

Is he still affectionate to you privately, or only when other people are watching?

Always affectionate when we are alone.

You are a lucky woman to have a man like that. You need to stop making this all about you and be a little more supportive.

That said, you can also talk to him about how to make you feel more loved. A lot of people tend to forget that sexuality is not just about intercourse and that we don't need to be horny to have sex. He is not off the hook entirely and he does need to step up to the plate but the dramatics don't help the situation either.

Hi there,

You seem to think that sex is the only "real" way to show love, and all these other gestures of his "don't really count." Well, they DO count. I suggest you examine and reevaluate your beliefs, as they don't seem to be serving you very well. If your boyfriend has no sex drive at all right now, you need to let go of your impulse to take it personally.

I think your right...I do think sex is the only way to show real love.
