I would say quality. If it's terrible, then even once a year is too much. It the quality is high, one would want the quantify to be high, too, but quality once in a while would be much better than lousy, or even so-so, real often

I wouldn't call it isolated so much because it comes up

well, as long as it's an isolated occurence (or a rarity) I'd say not to worry about it. If you find it creeping into regular rotation, well, you know the drill..

We have both had times when one wanted sex while the other did not.

"How would you feel if you wanted sex, and your DW didn't, but she rolled over and begrudgingly said, "Fine, let's have sex"?"

Hah, that would be the day! It would certainly beat the usual alternative .....

>>Speaking of my gf, I would wonder when the aliens swapped her body out for this imposter.<<

look for a pod in a basement somewhere? Seriously, though, it happens sometimes. Sometimes it's a short term issue, sometimes the shine is just off that apple and it's not "all that" to you anymore. Have you talked with her about that? Or was it an isolated incident?

I can't know for sure if there were times it wasn't good for him obviously, but the only times (very very few) he's said it been okish is when he can't perform for as long as he'd like to. He says that he feels like he hasn't satisfied me, which is not true. There was one time it was extremely boring for both of us, we just gave up and laughed at it the next day and also made up for it!

>>I could live with sex once a week once its good. I have to admit though that I wouldnt turn down sex with my fiance even knowing (because he's tired etc) that its not going to be mind blowing but just good. (I can't say we ever have boring or even okish sex)<<

I'm just wondering if your partner feels that it's never "boring or even okish" And let's face it, this is hard to know, because people will very seldom ever tell you "eh, it was okish." and if they did, it would likely hurt your feelings. But honestly, as a LL, most sex is "meh, whatever" to me, even if I have an orgasm (or two or three)

I'm very HL. i could go every day at any time, but life doesn't always allow for this. I defintely choose quality over quantity. I could live with sex once a week once its good. I have to admit though that I wouldnt turn down sex with my fiance even knowing (because he's tired etc) that its not going to be mind blowing but just good. (I can't say we ever have boring or even okish sex)
