I agree it's more of a HL / LL question, rather than Man/Woman.
I voted "Woman Mostly", mainly because she's the LL......NORMALLY I'd be initiating most of the time.....but at the moment I'm in a place where I'm really maxed-out on the rejections, and starting to get very resentful.....so I just don't bother very often lately.
Labeling it simply a HL/LL issue presumes that men and women are similar or even identical in their wants/needs. While men are sexually aroused largely (not entirely so don't start preaching) by visual stimulation by A lot of women derive satisfaction in having a man "into" them. An example of that is a lot of women enjoy giving oral sex as much as receiving it because it turns us on that we are turning a guy on.
So it's not that my husband doesn't have a high enough libido, again whenever I suggest it we do it, it's that I feel unattractive or not desirable enough because he doesn't start things up.
My questions really was to see haw common this is in long-term married couples.

Labeling it a HL/LL issue specifically does NOT make any presumptions about men and women, because it acknowledges that HL/LL is NOT limited by gender... i.e. there are

Again, this is not as gender specific you seem to think. A lot of HLs, men and women, derive most of their satisfaction from how their partner reacts to them. There are countless examples of that on this board.
