Does lack of fantasies always indicate lack of libido?

Just something I've wondered about.....if someone doesn't have any sexual fantasies, does that always mean they have low or no libido? Or could they be HL (or anywhere in between), and lack of fantasies simply indicates that they just don't have any particular wishes/fantasies, that they don't care how they get some as long as they get some? Does that even make sense?

Coconut, it makes me feel sad, frustrated and marginalized to hear that you've never heard of a consistenly LL woman. Aside from myself, I can think of at least 6 friends who fit that description. Go look at the AVEN (asexuality.org) forums, where you'll find tens of thousands of people who consistently have little to no interest in sex. The more people understand about the great diversity of sexual interest/response among humans and the less we pathologize this diversity, the better we'll all be equipped to avoid ML situations.

Edited because a small detail was taken out of context and debated, instead of the main point being comprehended, again.

Yeh, I'd wanted to say here that there was no need to feel sorry for you FLM - you're talented, intelligent, articulate, compassionate, fulfilled and pretty happy from what I can gather - what's not to like?!

Indeed, I've seen much higher percentages as in 40% with rare spontaneous desire for sex in middle age, with only a fraction of those who are in any way distressed by it.
