mol, the words combative and inflexible come to mind. Also the wallowing in self pity was a bit much, it just went on and on, in a bitter and vindictive way. At some point you have to cut the cord and stop giving the acts of someone else so much weight and power in your life and psyche.

and also for the record (although I don't think I was all that hard on OC) I DO feel very strongly about people owning their own part in any problem. You have to take the credit and the blame for your contribution. It takes two to tango, etc. I also believe in living in the real world, not in a fairy tale. No one is perfect. And people who claim the longest and loudest that they are tend to be the ones who are the most flawed, imo.

I found OC one of the most annoying people I've come across on the internet, which I suppose is saying something.

It has nothing to do with sex or whether she was GGG or

Actually, TG, it wasn't me that OC went after, it was Z.

How odd it is to check back in and see such mistaken ideas.

It seemed I was being labelled OCD, and that was jarring, and I wondered why. To find out I"m supposed to be another person is even stranger,

That's a shame, I am sorry to hear that. The value of these boards is the honet discussion that anonymity (sp?) can allow.

Deedle, there used to be a poster here with the name "overcaffeinated" or somesuch. There was a real problem that overstepped the anominity of this board and into real life between that poster and one of our regulars who had been here for years. It drove that regular straight off the board, and she was a person with a valuable perspective (even though her position and mine clashed severely from time to time, I still miss her input and contributions to this forum.) I believe that clash between those posters is what drove some of our members here to begin deleting their posts after some time passes, which I find to be a tragedy, since people cannot come on here and read the back posts and get a real flow and the story of people's pain, which is quite instructive. If I've gotten any of this wrong, hopefully someone else will chime with the corrected version (my memory isn't great....)
