I am at a loss for words! Im never in the mood to have any type of sexual contact with my Fiancee. When it comes to that time I shut down, I'll say I am way to tired or I have a headache. Its driving me crazy because its really starting to strain my relationship, badly. We used to have an awesome sex life, but for about the last six months I could care less to ever do it again. I just hate it when he make any type of sexual suggestion or anything that has to do with sex. I love the man to death, but I just can't bring myself to giving it up. Its downright frusterating. I want to be the sex goddess I used to be.

if you 'used' to have a good sex life but do not now, then it begs the question "what happened" ~ 6 months ago that might have caused you to shut down.

Withholding sex is a form of punishment, either of yourself or your SO. When you are willing to track back to the triggering event, then you can start a path to rebuilding intimacy. Men generally feel loved when they get sex and women give sex when they feel loved. He's less likely to do teh things you need to feel loved if he isn't feeling loved either.

It sounds like the 2 of you need to talk - working with a counselor might also be in order.

Have you changed any medications, especially birth control or antidepressants? Any chance that you have a thyroid problem or depression?

>> What about diabetes.. would that make the libido less?

It can. For women, check out the following iVillage article:

"Sexual Healing for Women with Diabetes"

With men, it can also cause erectile dysfunction.
