Sounds to me that she cannot tolerate being alone. So when she decided to divorce her current H, she called the ex to see if he would take her back so she would not have to be alone.

The fact that she cannot tolerate the thought of living alone could potentially explain at least in part why she tolerates so much mistreatment from her partners.

TG, I do not feel that way at this point. I did at one time, before the couples therapy and individual therapy. Now I know how to spot when he's attempting to be manipulative, and I don't rise. It takes two to tango, and I've learned how not to dance. It wasn't easy to learn how to change my behavior patterns, and it wasn't easy for him to deal with either. We're all the better for it. Thanks for your concern.

I'd say rather, that not having kids together presented the perfect opportunity to exit.

HavIng kids together is the only semi legit treason to try again. You have no kids together so no reason to stay. Retire the drama queen tiara and move on.

I didn't know that 'knowing' you are being manipulated and abused made it easier to endure as opposed to being ignorant about it.

True, false?

I'm not going into the whole "complete balance in all things" debate with you again, Glenn, but thanks for trying.
