Does anyone relate to me? Im only 27, have one child, and I have to take birth control, and I have my period every 12 days!!! And I have to take antidepressants cuz my hormones are all over the place. Because of this, I have noticed a major decrease in my sex drive AND sensation!! I just bought some Virmax pills that are supposed to help with libido and sensation, but so far nothings changed. What can I do!! Its really bothering me!!! HELP!

Talk to your doctor about the medicine. There is an antidepressant out there that is not suppose to have sexual side effects. I think it is Wellbutrin but not sure.

No idea what Virmax pills are. Herbal remedy? If so, some of the them have negative reactions or are nullified depending upon other medicines or foods you eat.

Well, Ive heard of welburtin, and actually was on it years back when I was younger, but I took it for different reasons and wasn't even sexually active at the time. So, thats a good idea,I might go back to my doctor and see what she says. I know she was worried before because I was breastfeeding, but now I'm not. And Virmax is an herbal treatment that is supposed to enhance sexual drive and sensation. I just started taking it a couple days ago. I dont know if its working, but I really am tired of not being how I used to be!

Talk to your doctor about changing birth control pills as well - you shouldn't be getting your period that often. And it could also pay to have a check up to make sure it's just the BC pills that are causing the issue, and not some other underlying issue.
