Hi, all. This is for all those who are like most of us probably, and occasionally have bouts of ML or lower level ML but would not be accurately described as "ML couples."

I do believe in those cases libido or interest in partner sex can

This is kind of a special interest of mine, I guess because right now

Certainly interested in the thread - I suspect that many long-term ML cases start out as a temporary glitch which becomes entrenched.

Welll... that's the problem with the aphrodisiacs. I don't need them so I am not that reliable of a guinea pig. Some of them do produce an amount of sensation and sensitivity to touch that surprised me, since the common knowledge is I guess that they don't work. But the proof in the pudding would be what a LL woman does with that sensation. It could be she would just ignore it or perhaps it would even annoy her? I've begged everyone to take them and give me a full report but they just look at me like I'm a weirdo. I can't understand it, can you? lol

Scent is something else that seems very strong for association and "mood." I buy the cologne my first boyfriend used and spray down the sheets with it and really I don't think I need anything else, lol. Also the scent of jasmine does me in (making out outside in the summertime). My husband tells me he's kind of hung up on the styles etc that girls wore when he first started noticing them and I think I'm the same with fragrance. I would like to know if other women are the same. Maybe it's along the same lines of how men tend to like porn more and women like written erotica. Or if nothing else perhaps a particular candle scent could be deliberately picked out and lit every time to further "program" the mind to step out of

...for me, personally, I had a powerful. motivational experience...my first husband was killed in eastern Europe smack dab in the middle of a terribly mismatched libido relationship...I had to evaluate my behaviors and the part that I played in the betrayal of our vows...now I know...we really can lose the life partner that we've chosen in the flash of an eye...and, all hope of doing better or being better is gone...period...no second chances, only second guessing (and third guessing and fourth and fifth...and, on

I discovered this same thing by accident. My first lover wore an Avon scent, and DS2 got that same scent as a gift from his grandparents one year not long ago. He wore it one day and I just about went nuts. It brought back such strong memories, of things I didn't even know I remembered. I never went so far as suggesting DH wear it, because it seems wrong somehow.... Maybe I should reconsider.

Omg, don't tell me it was Wild Country... If so I want to know what they're putting in it.

So where do I get this stuff? I think one of the gals in our office puts out Avon books. Should I look for Wild Country in the catalogue?

When you see it coming, duck!
