Just a quick drive by to say hello to some of my old friends. The past several months have proven to be a huge challenge to say the least. I am slightly in a better place now but still haven’t found the “bright side” of things. I am on the other hand searching out the cheese that got moved.
I purchased an additional house only three blocks away from my other house this way the kids can go back and forth as they please and its truly joint custody. The divorce is progressing, and as bitter sweet as it is I am now really looking forward to getting it behind me. Single life isn’t so bad but its taking a little getting used to. The dating scene dynamics have totally changed in the last twenty years as well as how I feel about it. I’ll try and post my observations on it some time.
While this is not the path I would have chosen to go down, I can’t help but kick myself sometimes for not having done it sooner.

Ok well the first couple of weeks were rough, But I did make a friend and let's just say my neighbors were giving me big smiles there after. But that didn't turn into a relationship and eventually that ended. Dam it ! But there are a few things in the hopper and I think there will be some new action soon.
