This was on the discovery channel. Although its refereed to as HSDD its more about libido loss. It was very informative. There were some things I really found interesting in the difference between females with low libido and ones with higher libido. Part 4.

I'd like to watch this, but the only place I have internet fast enough is at work, and I am pretty sure it wouldn't be appropriate. Wish they had a text version, oh well, that's what I get for living in the sticks.

Maybe I can catch it on a rerun.

Maybe you podcast it and take it with you to watch else where.
BTW its interesting because its part of a CME which may be related to your work if your degree requires CME credits.

"podcast" and "take it with me" OMG! I am not that advanced. Don't own an ipod, or anything else made by apple actually. And my job isn't even in the field I studied in school, let alone requiring extra school. I wish!

I do have a blackberry, but I am not sure how it works exactly. I use it as a phone, and occasionally check email with it.

I should probably explore that a little more.

...wow...another person that doesn't understand and participate in all of "that" stuff...thank goodness...I just recently switched from carrying a discman to an MP3 player...I'm serious...and, my 14 year put music on it for me...he was 13 at the time, I think...

I've got you beat. I don't have a Blackberry and I've never texted in my life. We got our first cell phone last month (wanting to have that security on the road after my DH's heart attack).

Let me know if you need any help replacing that 8 track player.

Ok so I guess I am also a dirty middle aged geek.
But lets get this thread back on its rails. Anyone watch the show?

Section 4 of the online show is what really caught my attention.

I watched it online yesterday. I also had my DW watch it. I found it very interesting and very relevant to our situation. It sparked some good conversation. She is interested in looking into some options for herself.

I found the MRI study fascinating. Clearly there is a difference in the LL females brain activity vs an HL woman's brain activity.

I know I may get some flack from some people here.
But if that is the case as it appears one could then ask can the brain be reprogrammed through some kind of therapy.
