Raising Libido- Testosterone Etc.

It sounds like testosterone is one of few things found to have a good rate of success in raising libido in women who want it raised.

-Anybody know more about it or have firsthand experience with it?

-Anybody know of anything else that works?

Also, can anybody direct me to that report on the difference testosterone made in women undergoing sex reassignment surgery?

Thanks

I have read several accounts of the huge boost in libido experienced by female-to-male transsexuals. Some of these people believed themselves to have high libidos as females, but the effects of testosterone therapy caused them to revise their former ideas about "equal but different." I've always believed that the male libido is (on average) much more insistent than the female libido, which seems to wake up in the presence of a desired partner but can much more easily lie dormant. The reports from FTM transsexuals have corroborated my hunch.

Anybody know of anything else that works?

I understand that in women, metabolites of alcohol consumption mimicked testosterone, which might partially account for the increase in sexual proactiveness and also aggressive tendencies in inebriated women.

I doubt I would be able to find the article now, (nope, no hope from google)

but I once read an article in Playboy, that was similar

A woman was having testosterone injections & was surprised what it did. I remember her talking not just about libido, how strong & insistent it became. But also about agression & even colors. Colors looked different & her focus on objects was different.

ArginMax's ingredients that have been shown to be effective elsewhere are L-Arginine, GInseng, and Ginkgo. Missing from this list is DIM, Tirbulus, and Horny Goat Weed (from other semi-to-mostly reliable studies). The only two

Was that the article where she said that the testosterone also gave her a desire to drink beer and watch football?

...and, throw her clothes at the dirty clothes basket in hopes of scoring some sort of point for making it in (same with wadded up pieces of paper)...oh, and she had a strong desire to approach each doorway at a run to see how high up toward the ceiling she could touch...and, when she explained how her day went she found herself suddenly uses noises (sound effects) in her story...she ordered the entire Rambo series one

If anyone can direct me to the resource with the women -to-men sex change and the difference testosterone made, much obliged.

The responses here were so great they will keep me busy looking up the things mentioned, wow.

I've read several accounts, but the only one I remember by name is in the book The Testosterone Files by Max Valerio.
