I saw this article on Yahoo and got a kick out of it. I thought it could be taken in a fun and light-hearted way or people might want to have a serious discussion about it: http://shine.yahoo.com/channel/beauty/women-let-men-dress-them-with-mixed-results-2468584/#photoViewer=1

Thoughts?

Kiaran's outfit was too bottom heave she is not busty so the top needs a cove to balance but otherwise good. Vanessa's So did a wonderful job.

Yeah, Beth was just being strange. I am a cover-up kind of girl myself, but I would happily wear a dress like this. Short is fine, as long as there isn't tons of cleavage as well. Of course, with my breasts, I'd opt for a longer dress and rather flaunt my chest; but for her this was perfect.

Kind of agree about the colours, though.

My XH used to pick out all of my clothes (he was controlling), and his taste ran in two styles. Publically, I looked completely conservative with everything covered up. Privately, I looked like an exotic dancer.

My style now (and DH seems to show no preference for me in jeans and tshirt or slinky dress) is one of tasteful comfort.

I think that in common fashion it leaves the women who are generously endowed or lacking a problem especially if the shoulders are not wide enough.

Great find

The women look much better in their make-overs.

Especially that first one. Shorts over tights, really? That's some tragic fashion victimitis there. But the dress looks hot, she has great legs & aught to show them off with heels. Too bad she poo-pood what he picked out.

My DH used to buy all my clothes when I was thin. He didn't even need me to be there to try things on. Once I got fat it took him a while to realize that he couldn't do that anymore. Thngs have to be tried on for fit when you are bulky and bumpy. He still shops with me, but everything gets tried on.

His most recent purchase, a $60 Ralph Lauren no iron oxford in pink with a white stripe and 3/4 sleeves. I almost had a stroke when I found out what it cost, but he was getting it for me regardless. It looks nice, and fits well, and he says it's worth it over the course of the garment's life. If I wear it 3x a month for the next year it will cost 1.66 per wear. He says it'll last way over a year anyways and it's a classic. It can go under a sweater or suit jacket in the winter, worn alone in the spring and fall, and worn open over a tank in the summer!

The link doesn't seem to be working for me, so here's another link to the same story if others are also having trouble...

Admittedly, I think the women look great when dressed by their men!
