Sure.....Dream on ....before the internet...the DVD.....before that the VCR......before that the cheap 8mm battery powered projector...in the 60's
Thankfully......it lost it's negative reputation.....I'd learned from a older girl in the early 70's.
The only way any of the article makes any sense is if it is about power imbalanced relationships/hookups across class/race/social boundaries ........

So Trey, since (if) there really are more teenage virgins as the article says, and you don't think it's because of easier/more access to porn, what do you think the reason is then?
You think teens are having less sex because of the regular internet, gadgets, video game and target/walmart?

Tom, thanks for your thoughtful reply. I would have to disagree that today's teenagers have become more thoughtful in their decision making then teenagers of previous generations. I think teenagers and kids are more "savy" to life and have to grow up faster today due to what they are exposed to through technology, but I don't think that includes becoming more thoughtful in their choices. We forget that teenager brains aren't yet fully developed even. They certainly are growing and will be full grown by the end of their teen years and the beginning of their 20s, but teenagers are a combination of a brain flooded with hormones on top of a still processing and developing brain. In teen boys, the part of their brain that deals with actions and reprocussions takes longer to mature. I hear so many stories about teens teasing other teens on Facebook and bullying until one teen committs suicide. Or how in the past year, I heard three different stories related to teenagers beating up homeless people and a group of young men raping a 9 year old girl in an abandoned trailer. I heard of a group of girls beating up one girl because the other girl's boyfriend was talking to her. Or the boys who raped a young mentally impared woman with a broom. I don't think people today in general are more "logical". Especially teens. Do you really think teenaged males today control themselves better then your own generation? That's giving a lot of credit to the teenaged males of today.
I never heard anything about the lead theory so I can't really comment on that. I'm not really sure how much of that would factor into this.
