I get it. This whole board seems to thrive on some weird "you're in a bad relationship and that makes me feel better about myself" thing. Somebody actually has a happy life and a little problem that gets fixed and the kitty claws come out.
I don't need to apologize for my success or happiness. I noticed something was wrong a few days ago, but I did some thinking, altered my behavior and yes, now everything's fine.
I remember now why I avoided iVillage for two years.
Please remember that you came to this board looking for advice on your situation. The comments and suggestions you have received are based on the behaviors you described, as well as the manner in which you've posted. You may not like the responses you've received, but they are exactly what you posted looking for -- honest answers based on the information you gave. There is no cattiness here, there is honesty and frankness, which is the norm for this board, what you aren't likely to get here is sugar-coated responses that tell you what you want to hear. You might consider that the overall tone of the responses you received was that of concern about your attitude and behavior, and consider that perhaps it is something that should be looked at.
No one has asked you to apologize for your success or your happiness, no one was commenting on either of those things. Behaviors don't change overnight, it takes months of work to change them. I truly wish you success and happiness, but I can't say I don't have concerns based on your behaviors and the mindset you've shown here.
Best of luck.
