We recently started hanging out with a couple who the man's son is in our Cub Scout pack- the big problem is, whenever she starts drinking, she starts groping EVERYONE!

I haven't dealt w/ this myself but i think I would stop hanging out with them, at least in situations where she is going to drink.

My wife had a friend like this who groped me while drunk and 'rough housing' so it was always in the name of 'fun.'

Once I had expressed my displeasure with the groping and she continued, I just played a little 'rougher' all the time until, some years later (only saw her drunk

I don't know why anyone would want to be around an obnoxious drunken woman EVER......and one time would be enough for me.

More importantly, did you point out to her that this is disgusting behavior, and hopefully she will never touch alcohol for fear of being like this woman.

First of all, thank you everyone for your help and input!

My daughter did come right out and say that the way the friend was acting was annoying her, and I did check that no one touched her because I was getting groped too.

HER problem is alcohol, and she's an alcoholic.

It was actually a weekend away in Mexico, and her boyfriend's son was there too. I do actually know plenty about alcoholism, but the problem here is my husband "didn't realize" he was getting groped, and he's telling me I need to apologize to them for being a total bitch about the whole thing, because she's just needy! I'm not sure where his judgement on this whole thing is, because I just realized I don't even know her last name.

Unless your H was drunk beyond remembering, a man knows when he is groped.

He should be apologizing to you for allowing it. If you let him turn the tables on you with this, what might it lead to next? That you made such a stink about this that he was driven into the arms of another woman for comfort?

Please...

My wife knew that I could handle her friend and so she stayed out of it but in the end, did approve of my methods.
