I would suggest you start meeting with lawyers and financial advisors, and come up with the quickest least painful approach to moving forward with your life.

I would think that you would be out of your mind to think you could live w/ this guy for 4 yrs knowing that he's having an affair & he's planning on leaving you.

Thanks... I think it's crazy as well and believe me, if the financial situation wasn't such that it is he would have been packing a month ago.

There's no guarantee that the kids will be able to handle things better in a couple of years--in fact the closer they are to adolescence, the worse it will probably be, because teens are kind of self centered and don't like anything that doesn't revolve around them.
