I never realized what a conflict avoider & doormat my hub is.

Possibly because of having an overbearing mom?

What can I do to help him?

He won't even admit to the problem - but actions speak louder..... (It's not manly for him to be this way, he thinks....)

I am really losing respect for him......

You haven't pointed out any examples so it's very difficult to determine if his behavior, or the lack of it, is appropriate or not.

Definitely not enough info to give any sort of opinion here. I'd like to hear a few examples of his behavior, along with a description how YOU reacted to the behavior. And if you could give us a little insight into exactly why you are feeling the way you do, it would also help.

Don't worry about length. Within reeason, we read some pretty lengthy stories around here.
