there's a major hurricane on its way, so I spent the day cooking up all the perishable foods in my refrigerator to take to work and put in their fridges because I'm totally expecting to be without power for about a week or so. They've got generators to power the studio and plant (I work in tv and we have to go in to work during these times). I have to go in to work on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday mornings, so hopefully I can get in. As it stand right now, my job isn't putting any of us up at the hotel, it'll be one of those "I'll be there when I get there" situations.
Hope everyone else on the northeast corridador stays safe!

I'm ok... no damage or loss of power. I guess we were too far south, but it was really windy and really rainy. I got plastered by that Deresho that blew through in late June and was without power for over a week, so I guess mother nature cut us some slack in our area.
