I'm in my mid 20s and I'm not really an expert on long term relationships. The reason my last relationship failed was cos I kept wanting to break up whenever things went wrong. I'm just scared of relationships.

I have to admit that I'm not real big on communicating things early on.

First of all, you don't "confront" him.

Everything you said made total sense. Yes we both work - in fact we're in the same industry - and we pretty much make our own schedule - it gets hectic sometimes though and I understand that. It's just that I spent an hour getting dressed yesterday and then rushing to work (when I probably should have been working during the time I was getting dressed). So it just blows that he decided to sleep and cancel on our date instead.... And I feel like I'm being overly avaiable too soon.... am I making any sense..? :-/

Thanks for the input... I guess the general consensus is that I say nothing at all....

If it's just this one time, I'd let it go. However, if he starts to make a habit of cancelling on you (e.g. he does this again in the next week)

If you work in the same industry, then more than ever you should understand the problems he has with his schedules!

Your fears and doubts do NOT make sense in a one month relationship.

I don't see how you can say that you're being "overly available" when you told him you were busy & had to work when he suggested getting together the next day.
