My boyfriend has this disgusting habit/problem.He'll make this loud snorting noise with his nose over and over again. It's like he's trying to suck snot from his nose down his throat.Sometimes he'll do it for hours on end. He's done this since we met & we've been living together for 3 years.
I commonly wear earplugs or blast my CD walkman. And he knows I cringe everytime I hear it.He swears he can't breath through his nose if he doesnt do it.He swears he has to do it.The thing is when we have company over he won't do it the entire time company is over. When they leave it's "Snort!! snort!! SNORT!!"
What should I do?How do I cope with this??

I had a boyfriend who loved garlic and as a result frequently had incredibly bad breath. Depsite the fact that I'd gently let him know (less gently as time went on) about it, and even if I asked him to brush his teeth, gargle, use breath mints, whatever, he refused to do anything about it. I felt it was very disrespectful of him to have such disregard for me and incredibly uncaring to simply expect me to suffer through him smelling bad. To me, it made quite a statement about his level of consideration, courtesy and respect for me. A little bad breath would have been easy to put up with if he'd shown himself to care enough to do what he could to resolve it, but he didn't.

If I eat garlic for lunch, I try to put it in DH's dinner so that I don't offend him LOL.
Was having another thought about the O/Ps predicament. She could always tell him that he sounds so gross that she's lost her sexual desire for him. That her sex drive will only come back when he fixes the snorting ;-)
That's understandable. It's hard to feel sexually attracted to someone who shows you disrespect and does something that you find repulsive!
