This is my first time posting. Basically, I met someone that I fell head over heels for. I was close to 30 and was not expecting the fairy tale. I met someone that was everything I never knew I always wanted. I had so much bad luck in relationships that I got myself together, found a decent job, and decided to go to grad school. I had resigned myself to the idea that I would single. When I met my SO, he had been in my town for about a year and felt the same way - he didnt think he would ever meet anyone and was fairly unhappy being in a city with no family and few friends (he moved here for a job).

Your subject line says "we moved in too fast..." so that begs my question on why do you want to buy a house together if you think you have moved in too fast?

So have you tried couples counseling?

Welcome to the board, JH2011 ~

I agree with Mark about the house; if you're struggling in the relationship at all and feel that moving in too fast is the reason, why would you move forward to buy a house?
