Thank you. It is actually a male friend, after he got married she convinced him to quit his job (very controlling women) he has spent the last 6 months remodeling the house. He wants to go back to work but she tells him it will be over if he does. So he is stuck with no income, she threatens to take his car and everything the day he leaves. Also tells him that Indian laws protect her from California laws in divorce, they do not live on the reservation but they live off her money from the Indian Government, which is ALOT. They own a few houses, boats, trailers 3 cars, all he would like to walk away with is his one vehicle and his personal belongings and of course his life, she is NUTS!

OOPS.... I know, I shouldn't "assume".... anyway, I think she's blowin' smoke ;-) at him, but again... he really should check with an attorney.

Did he come into the marriage with a vehicle?
