Im currently going thru a divorce..STBX never got an attorney and is now in default..he refuses to pay any household bills including our mortgage since September..I recently found out the girl he has been seeing also has his child who is 1 year old...OUR son is 9..I am jus sick over this and cant function at work or anywhere..HE refuses to leave our home and tells me how can i do this to our family...WTF he is the one who made me file..this chick is 15 years younger than him..he is 44 i am 39...i just had my attorney file for temporary support for me...i am in Illinois and i just wish there was a way to get him out of here..the verbal abuse is horrible and to top it off on Thanksgiving the Sheriff came to our house to serve him papers, i guess she filed an Order of Protection against him for some reason...i really need advice here..i need him out and am suffering over this...thanks for any responses...K

Since you've already enlisted the services of an attorney....why not keep a diary of expenses that you've had to pay out since your divorce proceedings began? .

You might be able to 'recover' some of the money you've paid out?

As for 'what he did to your family'----that's another issue entirely!

There are some men who CAN NO LONGER LIVE with a spouse because of one reason or another? .

Unfortunately, a lot women fail to realize is that most men will only "take or put up with a certain type of behavior or attitude from a spouse" for so long.

Once a man arrives at his breaking point...it's a better alternative for HIM to LEAVE instead of resorting to verbal or physical abuse toward ANY family member!

If one order of protection has been served on him, and he is verbally abusing you...I don't see why another one wouldn't fly with the judge.
