I'm currently separated from my husband. He has agreed to pay for some personal bills, the dog's bills, etc. How do I go about obtaining payment at the time of service. Do I tell the office to bill him for payment? Any advice would be great. Thanks!

The best thing to do is to get this in writing....legally. What I have to do is pay the bill, then request 50% of it from ex. Yea, I haven't seen it, but that's how it's written in the court papers. If you know what the total will be, you can ask him for 1/2 up front.
But save yourself headaches: get things put in a separation agreement. If he fails to pay, you really don't have much to stand on....
My gut is telling me that if something needs to be paid "at the time of service"... and it's for the dog.... let HIM take the dog... and pay.
