I am pleased to announce that Joey got his first ever 14/14 on his daily behavior chart. This is the one we get daily, that they've broken down into the 14 different class sections, since Joey's had some issues recently, to help break down his day and have something positive... since getting sent home from school last Thursday, he has gotten 10/14 (two times) and 9/14 (Monday), but today he got the full 14/14!

The teacher noted that today when he got there he announced that he was going to do his best to have a great day today... that he sat with her at breakfast today (which means in the cafeteria, instead of the office, where he has had to eat breakfast quite a bit lately), and she changed his nap location and he fell right to sleep today. They even had a little celebration in the office today with the principal to celebrate the day.

He decided who he wanted to call and let know about his day... he picked his Grammy and PawPaw, my friend Mika and the Jack, (as in jacka$$ AKA xh). Of course, Jack didn't answer, so Joey had to leave a message, but I'm not going to stop Joey from calling Jack when he wants to do so.

I can't tell you how thrilled I was to hear the wonderful news from Joey... and since you guys have been there through all of this, I wanted to make sure I let you know as well.

Have a great evening!

*hugs*

*huge happy dance for Joey*

Oh Julie, I'm so happy for you and Joey! What a great accomplishment! Hopefully it'll feel good enough that he'll want to do it again!!

That is great. I always try to say that through all the crap our X's give us well they think they are doing it to us but really it only effects our babies, that through all this crap it will only make our children stronger.

And plus the fact that it is US that is helping them through the good times and especially the rough times.

I hope he continues to stay 14/14!!!
