I felt more comfortable with my married name and saw no good reason to change it back, so I didn't. My mom did the same (she divorced when I was 3).
I'm sure there are plenty of people who have never weighed in on this topic and will be glad to share their opinions, but here are also
Did it.
I'm keeping my married name. I was 21 when I got married and I've had the name for 14 years, it just seems strange to change it back now. I've had this name for nearly as long as I had my maiden name. On top of that, it's a very common name and my maiden name was also an easy common name.
I just recently went back to my maiden name. I was going to keep my married name, and did for about 2 years, but then I decided that I owe it to myself to be myself again.
My children still carry his name.
Way to go Jennie!
Thanks for finding those for us.
