Child Support and Unemployment

Don't know if anyone here can help or not...My x has always been very responsible with paying child support (I can say alot of things about him, but him not being responsible financially is not one of them). He makes (or made) alot of money during his career, BUT, he just lost his job. I'm so screwed...half my income comes from him...I do work full time, but after being a SAHM for 10+ years, I don't make enough to live on. I mean it's decent and with child support, the kids and I are comfortable. But I'm freaking out here...He will file for U/E but you know how that goes. I am so worried about losing my home now, not having money for groceries, etc. I know child support will be attaching his U/E...but I still won't be getting that much. What can I do...I don't know if I can go for temporary state assistance or not...I guess I have to check into it. But does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks
