Well, I don't think I have ever posted here before.
Here is the deal, I have a written, notarized, mediated agreement with my STBX stating the amounts of child support and alimony. Now he is saying he doesn't have enough to live on and he is going to fight it tooth and nail. I am scared! Now what? I don't want to pay lawyers fees out the wazoo, but I've got nothing left to cut in my budget, save the private school. I've been told that because we provided private school all those years (10) that he will be required to maintain that standard. Is this true??? He has the capability to earn more income, and this is a result of his misunderstanding of money matters including taxes.
OH MY, I thought the end was in sight, and now the tunnel just grew MILES longer!
Blessings,
Fidelity

What I can tell you is that our girls were in private school at the separation. It was in our agreement that he continue to pay for it until graduation AND he pay for college.
Unfortunately, the school only goes to 4th grade, other private school weren't good options, so I made the decision to move Rosie to a public charter school for 4th grade, though Gracie remained in private school. Two kids in two schools is virtually impossible, so they're both in the charter. I saved his behind $18,000 a year, and I got no thank you.
Is there a good educational option available? Rosie LOVES her school now and is glad we made the move early.
