I was talking to DH at lunchtime today (we are still living together, but have talked about divorce).

Well, this sounds like... for instance... the alcoholic, where "everyone" else can see the problem, the person who has it won't see it... and simply cannot get help until they hit absolute rock bottom and want to get help for themselves.

It could be your H's medicine that he is taking for the BiPolar mood swings.

It could also be that he realizes that there is no hope. Once men get it in their mind that there is no hope they move on. Its sad to say but I think your H realizes it is over. To him, why waste the energy.

Are you looking for some grand gesture? Would it do any good? H needs help. Sometype of support group.

Good Luck

I guess I don't know what I'm looking for personally.

Why can't the Dr's get his meds right. Have you taken him (yes, I know he is an adult...but he is a GUY!!, lol) to Mass General?

It seems that the two of you are headed for the cliff and hope that the other one will take control of the situation.

I feel for you...
