Hi Phoenixfirebird08 (interesting name...I often wonder as to the derivation of our screen names and what they mean. I usually conjure up something in my mind and it probably is so far from reality it isn't funny :)

I am with you, I really think it would be fair to continue to receive income from the businesses I helped develop.

alady...you are in...you passed the initiation. The "hazing" was that you had to suffer the torture of dealing with a "crap" husband!

Yours,

My name came about from researching what I want as a tattoo. I have always wanted to get a tattoo and was never 'allowed' by STBX so I started researching what I would want and what would have meaning for me. I decided a phoenix would be a meaningful tattoo and look good too!! I haven't gotten it yet as I'm still collecting pictures and deciding what I want it to look like to bring to a tattoo artist. Plus, I was in the city of Phoenix when a lot of my healing started to occur.

Evening Phoenixfirebird08,

...Told you that what I conjured up would be so far off -beat it wouldn't be funny. I'll tell you a quick story to illustrate my point. Some years ago while driving the 6 miles to work each day I would see a crow atop a walnut tree.

With what you said above about only being able to get a minimum wage job and your husband working in successful businesses, you should be going for alimony and if the lawyer doesn't want to do it, maybe you should consult another laywer.

Hi Musiclover12,

I am going to consult with my lawyer this week and ask him to be more aggressive.

Sorry to butt in, but I am in CHELSEA, MI, and I know of a FANTASTIC female lawyer here in Washtenaw County.

Hello musiclover,

Well yesterday I discussed my concerns with my attorney's paralegal who passed my concerns along to my attorney. My attorney called. He said that he did not want to be my "punching bag".
