I am trying to figure out a charge on my itemized bill. I tried to google RI divorce terms ... & "DR 6" isnt showing up. I want to make sure I am not being charged for them refiling for a RO when it was my atty who inadvedently screwed up & had me sign paperwork that dropped the RO, when it wasnt supposed to be dropped. I am looking back at that week & i am being charged almost $1,000 for calls, correspondence & fililng, all for a NEW RO, which i already HAD gotten, on my own - b4 he screwed it up!

And I think that the attorney and every human in his office already knows it was an inexcusable error to not keep you informed on court dates. So your note was more than kind about that. Please don't hesitate to question any charges you have doubts on, and know that for many jurisdictions, time spent discussing the bill is NOT time that they can bill you for. If you keep that call limited to only billing, then you should not see the call on your next bill.

DR could mean domestic relations, so it could have to do with the RO.

I found out it is just an expense filing. The biggesst issues on my bill are almost 1K in charges FIXING a problem THEY made.
