Ex hit a new low

My ex has hit a new low....in his retaliation for my filing a counter full custody suit and slapping him with contempt charges, he called the humane society to report a "sick cocker spanial was being held against her will in the garage". They came to my home this morning, scared the daylights out of my children, my daughter was hysterical thinking they were going to take her dog from her. Let me explain, I'm highly allergic to my dog, and found this out about two years ago, I couldn't bring myself to give her away, love her dearly, so I moved her to the garage. She is 9 years old, has a corner that is all hers, carpeted, a heater in the winter, a fan in the summer, a lamp for the nightime, she has a cage and blankets and pillows, she is fed and watered and walked daily. the kids and I both play with her daily and love the pieces out of her, I just can't have the dander in the house. So, my ex called the humane society. This is the lowest of lows in my opionin, this wouldn't just hurt me but would hurt my children, they adore her. Can you believe this???!!!!

I know for certain it was him, the officer told me so, and my daughter confirmed it when she arrived at her dad's for the weekend, she took his cell phone and check the outgoing calls, asked me what the number was, i told her and she said sure enough, he called at 9:00 this morning. He then denied and lied to the kids, unbelievable. He is SOOOO Sick!

So what happened with the humane society? Did they charge him with making a false report? Or anything of that such? Was everything okay?

I would also tell your attorney what happened, about how your children were really upset by what happened, how your daughter confirmed it was him who called by the cell phone numbers etc. So that it can be brought up in court.

Its disturbing what people will do to others that they once claimed to love.

That is awful that he would stoop to that level! What bothers me most about that is how he knew it would impact your children. It's one thing to be angry with you, quite another to do something so damaging to the kids. I'm glad it worked out OK and they didn't take the dog. I would definitely discuss this situation with your lawyer.

The men from the humane society couldn't have been nicer. They came and saw Bailey (my cocker spanial) were at my house about 30 seconds, no kidding and said there is no problemn here, we have real problems to deal with. They were quite upset for having to come out but kept apologizing to me for bothering me. I said it was okay, I understood they had a job to do. I don't know what they will do about him filing a false report. I did call my attorney and told her everything and have document all of the information.

The part that upset me the most too is he knew how much this would impact the kids, and that is just unforgiveable. My daughter is so in love with animals and has been since she was little, she wants to be a vet. Know I realize that alot of little girls want that, but it just goes to show you the amount of love in her heart for her dog. What can I say, he will get his someday I do believe.
